We are a family-owned and operated small business that has primarily operated providing exceptional janitorial services for 6 years. When I first started with the program I had almost zero knowledge of how to navigate the COJ.Net system. I was unfamiliar with many of the services JSEB actually supported and what other companies are offering. Through the weekly coaching sessions I have become very familiar with many of the other JSEBS’. In joining the weekly sessions I have become extremely confident and comfortable with reading the prospective bids available and can easily identify the ones our business can compensate. All of the coaches at ICATT (Bid More) have made themselves available for coaching sessions for Buddy’s Landscaping and many times have extended their resources to our business.

There are two things that are immediately apparent when you begin working with Gabe and Bid More. 1) Gabe’s enthusiasm and knowledge for project bidding are unmatched. 2) Bid More has the resources and connections to make bidding on city projects feasible. We recently met Mr. Gabe Hamda at an event sponsored by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. At our first meeting, he presented himself to us as someone who really wanted to help small businesses succeed. We contacted Mr. Hamda to ask his coaching assistance with a project we wanted to bid. He and the ICATT were very helpful in providing feedback on bid submission and pointing out areas that we should revisit and take into consideration prior to submitting our bid to our GC. After submitting our bid proposal, we were happy to note that our GC came back to us to ask additional questions. Again, we reached out to Mr. Hamda and his team and again, they were helpful in providing suggestions on how to respond back to the potential client and improve on what had been previously sent.
